The Ventura County Search and Rescue teams responded to and Office of Emergency Services (OES) request for assistance to help in the search effort for a missing 80 year old woman in Yosemite. The Ojai SAR team was deployed to the search area overnight on an extended  48 hour search mission. Due to weather conditions the team was required to hike out as the helicopter was not able to return to extract the Ojai team members from their search assignment.

The Ojai Team was able to send six members of our team. Below you fill find photos of our team preparing for deployment as well as some photos of the area. In this case to fly in the National Park Service Helicopters, all members had to wear fire proof clothing for the flight, thus the photos of the flight suits. You might notice some of the flight suits didn't quite fit too well.
